HOW TO OBTAIN COPIES OF BIRTH,
DEATH, MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES

  To obtain copies of birth/death records from

• Non-certified copies (genealogy) are $1.00

• Certified copies are $5.00, but can only be given to the person, a parent, an adult child or a spouse.  A  signed written request is required with the following information:
      - Name at Birth
      - Date of Birth
      - Mother's Maiden Name
      - Father's Name
      - Requestor's relationship to that person
      - Photocopy of some sort of identification

DEATH:

• Death records are $3.00, but it is preferred that you give at least a range of 10 years so they  know where to start looking.  If they do a detailed search, the charge is an additional $5.00.

  To obtain copies of a MARRIAGE LICENSE from Anaconda-Deer Lodge County, MT:
